Slovenia sympathizes with Iranians over COVID-19

Slovenian President Borut Pahor in a message sympathized with Iranian nation over the consequences of coronavirus outbreak in Iran.

In his message to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Pahor wished the best for Iranian government and people on the occasion of Nowruz.

He expressed sympathy over the outbreak of coronavirus which has affected Iranians’ life.

In part of his message President Pahor, wrote: “In these difficult times, when you are also struggling with the covid-19 coronavirus in your country, allow me to express my sympathy on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Slovenia and on my own behalf in spreading the disease that has affected the lives of many people in your country.”

He also expressed readiness for developing ties with Iran.
